The University of Alicante is a state university founded in 1979. With a current extension of nearly one million square meters, it enjoys one of the best campuses
in Spain, not only in terms of infrastructure, but also in terms of landscaping, inclusiveness and sustainability.
With more than 25,000 students enrolled in bachelor's, master's and doctoral programmes, its offer includes 57 undergraduate degrees, 67 master's programmes and 32
doctoral programmes in its 7 Faculties and Colleges (of which 15 are international double degrees, 6 international master's programs and 6 international double
master's degrees (USA, Sweden, France, Germany, Brazil, etc.).
The University of Alicante receives more than 2500 international students each year, of which about 1000 correspond to mobility/exchange programmes, and the rest
to Study Abroad/direct enrollment programmes, Spanish as a foreign language programmes, tailor-made summer programmes, faculty-led programmes, etc.

- The Centro Superior de Idiomas is responsible for tailor-made programmes and Study Abroad/direct enrolment/visiting student programmes, and also relations with third party providers. It also offers key services for international students: legal consultation and support, accommodation, socio-cultural activities, in addition to its own courses.
